Third grade students have been working on a Christmas Tree Farm project, as an extension of the reading, writing, math, and science curricula. One of the attractions on the farm are reindeer to visit. Students learned about the personalities of three reindeer, and were tasked to work with their families to create a reindeer barn, which needed to follow specific criteria. Students needed to make a plan, think about needed materials, and then carry out their design. It is such fun to see the creativity from both classes! Thank you, to Mrs. Dysart and Mrs. Grover, for providing such a unique STEM opportunity!
